Working Together

Forward Facing ® Professional Resiliency is an evidence-based program developed by Dr. Eric Gentry of the Forward Facing Institute. This program that focuses on treatment and prevention of compassion fatigue. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic I received training and guidance from Dr. Gentry in order to deliver this program here in Canada.

The past year and a half has been a challenge for all of us. Our frontline workers have dedicated themselves to helping others, often at an expense to themselves and their own mental health. As the world begins to open up it is possible that we will see an increase in burnout and compassion fatigue among these individuals. Forward Facing ® Professional Resiliency workshops are one way that we can help fight this burnout by providing skills and strategies to learn the signs of burnout, increase our self-regulation skills, and make intentions for taking care of ourselves in addition to others.

I have delivered these workshops to non-profit social services organizations, social workers, medical staff, and to physicians in conjunction with the East Kootenay Divisions of Family Practice.

Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about these workshops and how they may help your organization. One to one coaching is also available.

Please also check out Beat The Burn an awareness campaign supporting the mental health of our frontline Canadians during this ongoing pandemic.
